1. Drip Irrigation
In exterior irrigation systems, water is literally dripped directly onto the roots or base of the plants. This method of irrigation uses less water than many traditional methods of water delivery, and it is less prone to run-off, as well.

2. Sprinkler Irrigation
Sprinkler irrigation, in which water is delivered via multiple high-pressure sprinkler heads, is useful for irrigating large tracts of land. It is especially useful in garden spaces where the plants have grown to various heights.

3. Condensation
This form of irrigation is only possible in regions where dense, humid air is the norm. As moist air hits the colder air of nighttime, it condenses. Various regions use collected, condensed water to irrigate a variety of crops.
